Backyard Poultry DIY Mobile Coop

Backyard Poultry Magazine Building Instructions for Mobile Coop inside

Can you believe it, me in a chicken magazine?  Well it’s true even though quail are my passion I do keep a flock of chickens here on the farm too.

In the latest issue of Backyard Poultry you’ll find a fun project perfect for a mature or half grown chicken flock.  This DIY Mobile coop is easy to build and can be completed over the weekend.

No fancy carpenter skills are required; we’re just cutting boards with saw and attaching everything with the use of a drill and easy to use sockets.

I designed this coop for the purpose of those who enjoy raising chickens in the most natural environment.

Chickens that roam free in a fenced in area are happy birds; I’ve even included the simple side of free ranging complimenting this cozy coop for sleeping and laying eggs.

If you’re looking for an easy to build mobile chicken coop that is also cute get your copy of Backyard Poultry Here or in stores like Tractor Supply, Barnes and Noble and Probably Walmart. This magazine is available now through March.
